SOL ROSA

SOL ROSA is a Pop Electro project created by Julien Mablouké on Reunion Island in 2022. His music, shapes a soundscape that is both powerful and captivating, a masterful fusion of Pop, Folktronica, and French Touch.
It embodies a solar adventure, tinged with dreaminess and raw emotions. SOL ROSA’s musical influences embrace a broad range, oscillating between electro-pop energy of Hot Chip, Jabberwocky, the psychedelic explorations of MGMT, and the sensual sophistication of Sade. In a trio formation, SOL ROSA delivers a powerful and generous live performance, with Julien on machines and bass, the talented Béné Maillot on vocals, and Mu Picard on guitar. The debut EP “Soleil Rose” was self-released on April 26th, 2024, with the single “Moving Back Moving Up” featuring ODGE, accompanied by an animated music video directed by Lucile Leroy. On this EP, Julien adds a special dimension to each track and collaborates with artists such as Odge, Toukan Toukan, Tess, and Mathias Fisch.
